Would love to see any and all Remington 600/660/600Mohawk's. Dogleg bolt only of course.
I intend to purchase and build upon one in the near future for a either a lightweight carry rifle, or a slightly heavier longer shooting rifle. Either with a Mickey edge, and an adl trigger guard. Plus a #3 Douglas
Or a Mickey HTG with a #5ish Douglas
Can't seem to decide on light 7ish#. Or closer to 10# for longer range.
Also can't seem to decide on caliber, thinking 7-08, 308, 388Fed. Maybe even 6mm
Thoughts on either?

This thread isn't helping..
Especially huntsman's pix.
I replace valve cover gaskets every 50K, if they don't need them sooner...

Here is mine doing it's job. .243 with 2-7x Nikon Monarch. My niece here is forth generation of family members who have used it on game. Been used by allot of friends as well. Wears some hard use scars but that gives it character. These rifles are wonderful for inside a box blind or for inside the truck when you may be doing the F-150 sneak. The dogleg bolt makes these fit a saddle scabbard really nice as well. I like the short barrel. Only downside is muzzle blast is pretty loud. Great rifle and one I will not part with

Another picture of another first pig taken with my Mohawk by a friend of mine. This is back when it had a 3-9x32 Bushnell scope on it. The Nikon was a nice upgrade but it killed allot with the old cheap Bushnell.

No pics but I have a four digit serial # Remington 600 in 308 Win. that is a classic, old school lightweight. It wears a Weaver base and rings, vintage Leupold M8 3x, and a Butler Creek Mountain Sling. At a touch less than 6 3/4 lb. all up (loaded with 3 rounds) it handles exceptionally well and is a pleasure to carry when stillhunting. Muzzle blast and recoil have never been a problem.

Very nice to see all of these.
His anyone gone to the trouble of replacing the safety to a more of a Remington 700? I recall Brownell sold some that listed a 600 action.
