Here are last of my 53 Alaskan Red Fox I trapped this year. These pelts will be going to the furbuyer this week and I have pulled my snares for the year.

Nice looking fox - they sure grow em' big up there. Looks like you have those bottom fox on #6 wire - Is that what you use on your larger fox? I've found #5's to be about as big as I can go for large males.

Yes, they are on #6's. I should stretch all of them on number six's because their tails drag on the ground with number 5's. I was sent #5's by mistake in my first order of stretchers. I had a few fox that went over 55 inches nose to the bottom tail.

Kusko, You've got some real jumbos there. Our Michigan fox are smaller. Here's an old photo scanned from a polaroid.
