I like white paint on steel targets.
I've been able to see bullet strikes from the 308Win at 1000 yards with a 10X scope, on fresh white paint.

Oh, that is nice, Pat. One of these days I'll build me a really nice dedicated LR rig and save my pennies for a fixed PMII... Thought I might have been able to make it but we've actually really ramped up at work and are already 'behind'...

Bob Well gentlemen as much as I would like to be there I have a bit more important task...I will be driving my oldest to his point of departure for his 8th deployment to the sandbox. If any of you pray, please send one or two up for my son. If not well wishes will suffice. Got the 5/8" inch rebar stand set up for the "Big boy" for 2000 yards !
Finish up a few more and we will be set good for targets with what Scenar made up this year as well ....
