Hi all, been a member for few years but usually just read a lot as the guys here know way more than me so I rarely post. I am just finishing a 257 weatherby(with free bore) on a 700 action with a #4 hart barrel. looking for a good deer gun for out west, and I had planned on using the accubonds. I have seen some load data before here and was looking at getting some guys experiences and recommendations. Thanks in advance for all input.

Reloader 22 and Reloader 25 also. My rifle really likes the 110 NAB, and would not shoot the 100 TTSX no matter what powder I tried. You should be able to get close ~ 3500 fps with a 26" barrel. I think the 110 NAB's are fantastic bullets.

I'm shooting a healthy diet of RL-22 with Fed 215's pushing 100gr TTSX at 3550 with a 27'' tube.

Recently released RL-33 is slower than Retumbo but will make the heavier 25 cal bullets fly faster than RL-25 or Retumbo with excellent accuracy.

My 28" 3 groove is shooting moly coated 110s at 3675 fps with 83.5 gr of RL-33. Case is very full at this point.

Work up from 76 grs and see what your rifle likes. 76 gr was 3318 in my rig.

Thought I'd mention it as many of the other powders are hard to find. RL-33 pops up for sale and seems to linger longer before it too is sold. FYI Powder Valley has some right now (3/21) http://www.powdervalleyinc.com/

RE 22 or H-1000 work well in my Vanguard

Azshooter thanks for the input on the rl 33. I shoot 25 and 22 in other calipers but have never tried 33

Although I shoot the 80 gr ttsx in my roy, I have seen the results of numerous dead deer by the 110 accubond and 69.5gr of of Rl-22. Maybe 30-40 deer and 5 black bear, good exit wounds. There was one sample at over 300 yds of three does that produced good exits and hardly any sprints to their death.
