Thompson Contender or G2 22 Win Mag/223 Cartridge/Chamber Adaptor Shoot 22 Win Mag in your Contender or G2 .223 barrel Chamber adapter are a neat way to turn your centerfire .223 into a 22 Win Mag rimfire for economical target practice, pest control, or small game hunting. Insert a .22 Win Mag cartridge in the adaptor, then load the adapter into your chamber... and you're ready to fire .22 Win Mag. Not for use with 22LR. One piece design for the Thompson Contender or G2 Only Uses the TC or G2 rimfire firing pin. That's a different approach... for shooting 308 in 30-06, etc. Not the same as a 22 to 223 adapter. They also make inserts with is a different concept as well.
