I think no matter what the speed, I bet your in the 2600's at least and that'll handle anything with that sorta accuracy.

My pet load in the .35 Whelen is 60.4 gr. of Re15 and the 225 gr. Barnes TSX. Brass is Remington and primer Winchester WLR. velocity is 2710 FPS at the muzzle and the load is serious elk smackdown. Accuracy runs from .50" for three shots to .75" with a hot barrel. Haven't had a group over an inch yet.

That's what I was thinking. Anything over 2600, should handle anything I would shoot a BT with. Anything tougher than that and I will switch to a 250 partition.

I am lucky enough to drop back to 60 grains of RL15 with the 250 PT, and keep the same exact seating die settings and get great accuracy.
