Thats nice bsa I think mine is a 57 vintage. Very clean looking featherweight!

JOC was right. The 270 Winchester on a Model 70 is a great combination as is the 30/06 and 375 H&H

My other Winchester M 70 Super Grade .338 Win Mag,found this one in El Paso. It has a 24"barrel,so thinking it was made between 1990-1993 before Winchester went to 26" barrels in 1994.

Oh, very nice!! Congrats, I hope it shoots as good as it looks. If that MOA trigger seems a little heavy you can always buy a spring kit from ernie the gunsmith and it takes a few minutes to install (very easy). It's well worth the price.

The trigger pull is 3-1/4 lbs and very nice.
Weaver bases and rings with a Leupold straight 6x. It weighs 7 lb 14 oz as seen in pic.

Took it out this morning and shot 175's that are loaded up for my CZ 7x57 and smile

Rings look a little high but that is a nice rifle. I'll have to get me a nice 7mm mauser one of these days...

This is my first 7x57 Mauser. CZ 550 American using CZ rings and a Zeiss 4x.
[Linked Image]

Bought it in January of this year.

The rings are "medium" Weaver and they do look high,BUT,when shouldering the rifle the scope is perfect when mounted.

Eric, thanks again for selling my scope back to me grin...I decided to put it on my new 270, also put my leupold DD's on too:

It's nice to be able to slap a "proven" scope on it and not have to worry about it!!

I like it!! However, I really like your CZ grin...Just giving you a hard time earlier as I have a very good older CZ 550 American in 9.3x62mm that I really like as well. It's a tack driving sob and takes elk down very well too grin..Your winchester model 70 375 is nice, is it a super express?
