Sorry about the mistake on the 3400 fps with 140. He said it as 3300 fps which is still on the fast side. 3300 should be possible . I had a 270 wsm that would do 3200fps in a tikka with factory 140 ab federal.

3,300 is better, but is still about 100fps over what I'd be comfortable with in a 24" barrel. That's actually a fairly stout speed for a 24" 7mmRM with 140's.
Now with even more aplomb

I'd be quite happy with 3,150 or even 3,100 for a 139/140 gr bullet out of a 24" barrel. Hell, I'd be happy with 3,000 and good accuracy, I don't sweat velocity too much though either, reliability, accuracy, then velocity is priority for me.

From my notes...Remington M7 AWR, 22" bbl.
6/30/13 7mm SAUM Accubond 140 H4831sc 64.5 64.5 Rem Mag Rifle 2.800 N/A 5 3000 3003, 2985, 3038: SUPERB Accuracy. 1.5" 5 shot group at 200
7mm SAUM Nosler E-Tip 150 Magnum 69.5 Rem Mag Rifle 2.750 N/A 5 2835 2830, 2838: 1/2" at 200 yards. Yeah. 1/2". Superb all the way around.
10/15/11 7mm SAUM Barnes TTSX 150 Hunter 59.0 53 60 Rem Mag Rifle 2.750 N/A 8 2891 2923, 2856, 2858, 2889, 2928, 2882, 2902, 2893: 1.25", 8-shot group
As an aside, Remington 160gr. Partitions - Premium Factory Loads gave me 2,950 and very sticky bolt lift. None of my loads exhibited this kind of pressure.

As an aside, the 140gr. AB / 64.5gr. H4831 is what I used on my Mountain Goat. Impact was just behind the right shoulder at 130 yards, exiting just a hair in front of the left shoulder. There was about an 8"x14" blood jello splatter at the impact point. Impact velocity is estimated at 2,750 fps. All in all, it's incredibly impressive. That bullet travelled through about 20" of goat. It "barely" exited as far as I could tell. The exit wound was largely nonexistent, just a bare 1/2" blip out.

Might be some schitt under it..
I replace valve cover gaskets every 50K, if they don't need them sooner...

I have that same ammo, haven't shot it yet, I wonder how my Ruger MKII will like it. I'll have to shoot a few and just take it apart if it's too hot.

Maybe that's why I got such a good deal on them. 5 boxes for $143.75 shipped to my door, maybe I should just take them apart and make my own loads with the Partitions and not even worry about shooting them.

Good to see you alive and kicking! You find any ABLR's north of the border yet?
yup in 7mm 168gr, I've got a box on my bench at home and more at the shop. Just sent a bunch downrange yesterday in my 260/129gr and have shot 150's in a 270WSM. Impressive bullet so far

I have a few pages of reloading info if you are interested. Not mine, but collected from the web. I found the 7 Saum super easy to load for so did not do much experimenting myself.
