I never had the greatest luck with the 125gr BT's in my 30 cal rifles as far as accuracy goes, but now am thinking that since I don't have the same 30 cal rifles I had before and since Nosler has introduced the 125gr AccuBond, that I'd give it another try.
Has anyone had any actual experience with the 125gr Accubond? What I'm most interested in is accuracy. I don't doubt that terminal performance will be stellar at least. If you've had good accuracy maybe your load data?
I have a fat barreled 308 and a medium barreled 300SAUM I'll be loading for.
Please forgive me if there's already a thread for this bullet. I quick search didn't find one.
Thanks, Bob

Yeah there have been a couple threads but zero information in them because I believe it's still unreleased.

I am loading them with 50 grs of Varget for my 12 year olds 308. He has a cow elk hunt in 2- weeks so we will see. They shoot same poi as 125 NBT's.
Good Shooting!

Might be a great bullet in a single-shot 30-30. Might.

Maybe this bullet will do for the 308 what the 120gr BT did for the 7/08

It's got 30 Herrett written all over it.
130 TSX & TTSX shoot so good in my .30-30 that I'm not switching.

I will give a report if I can get my son a shot on a cow elk this weekend! Little booger was ringing the heck out of the plates at 200-yards last weekend. Won't be much longer and he will be teaching me to shoot!
Good Shooting!

I gotta try this in the .300 Savage. It could be a marriage made in Heaven.

That's what I was hoping. This bullet promises to give us a lightweight choice for big game for our 30 caliber rifles.
I have always had a wish for a lightweight Nosler hunting bullet for my 308s since we seemed to have them for a lot of our other cartridges.
I was worried about the 125BT coming apart up close or at magnum velocities.

IIRC, Nosler recommends 3100 fps as the max for their Ballistic Tips.

Wish they'd come out with a 125 Custom Competition too.

From the Nosler website:
Optimum Performance Velocity: Minimum: 1800 fps (549 mps) Maximum: Unlimited
I'll bet you could get one of those to really scream out of an -06.

I'm interested in seeing how much jacket they make these with. The 100 and 110 ab's they made for the 6.8 are phenominally stout. Hoping for something liked this, http://www.noslerreloading.com/viewtopic.php?f=48&t=18940
