Was expecting to see a buck while hunting tonite, but this joker walked out instead. He ate a 95gr Berger from my .243win. We couldn't drag him, so we maneuvered the truck into the woods & towed his ass out with a rope. Then we drove the truck into a ditch so we could roll him onto the tailgate. Gotta love those 4x4's! When we hunted them in the BSF they were always nocturnal. I walked many a mile chasing them things.

I had so many pics of this hog on my cams and knew he was big. But when I seen him in person tonight it was a wtf, how are we gonna get this in my truck moment. The 243 jacked him up. But as we all know it is still a varmint round that is incapable of killing much more than a coyote let alone a small deer Haha. Had to take a stab at it. Slg888 and me had a hard time dragging him, and I would have left him if he had been deep in the woods. Screw trying to drag out oprah's fat ass. On a serious note I did take the hog to a processor tonight and will be having him cut up. He did not smell at all, which was surprising to me. I know I may be wasting my money but had to try. This hog had awesome cutters, and was a true trophy Russian boar. Congrats Stoney, glad I was able to be there for this.
