They're fantastic pistols, built hell for stout; dare you to try to kill one!! But they are big and heavy. But the good thing is, they're a PERFECT candidate for a .45 Super conversion. Good point. I'm surprised no one has mentioned this before now..
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

Gents, A correction to this post. This pistol is not a 4506. It is a 645. What is your experiences with the 645? Pros & Cons? Things to watch out for? Things I should look to immediately? Springs? Extractor?
The pistol is in good working order. It's appearance has some character, but isn't in bad condition. The seller is asking $350.
Thanks in advance, Expat

I would rather have the 645 than the 4506 and this is why i sold all my other ones and keep my 645 . It has no negatives except it is big and heavy , but that is a plus when it comes to shooting it .

The only con to my thinking is the 645 IIRC has a squarish trigger guard that is difficult to find holsters for. It's a first generation gun but I never had a problem with the one I had. Very good price to say the least.
