What level are you looking at? How about a few books & go about it yourself?
I thought about sending our previous Lab to a trainer, but never got close to doing anything. I did get a quality 'NCP' electronic collar. One needs to get schooled to use one properly. They used AFTER a dog knows what is expected and is trained. After that a collar is like a 300 yard leash.
Just the 'vibration' feature was about all I ever used. Of course once the collar was on, the dog paid attention rather well. She always liked when I got the collar out, knew fun times were ahead.
There are some great books out there. Truth be known, my Lab was 95% family pet anyway. The hunting was just a part time gig.
