I was talking with Johno via PM this afternoon, and he mentioned again that he needs a rear ring for a Stith mount. I've thought for some time that maybe we need a thread where people who have "orphan" spare parts or who need spare parts could post what they have or what they need.
Stith mounts missing front tubes? Open sights missing elevators? One scope ring missing its mate? Tang sight missing a stem? What do you have? What do you need?

Dang good idea. There are a few things I'm missing and a few odds and ends I could let go of to help someone in need.

Great idea.
1)I gutted the 1899 "lamp rifle" so I could weave a cord down thru it, so I have the internals from a 303, minus lever and trigger. No use to me. By the way, that rifle has an excellent octagon barrel.
2) need an elevator for the Savage with the side to side movement knobs from 100 years ago. Outside elevator, crap, #15? Can't remember right off.
3) got one of the Lyman 1A with the flip down peeps, and a Lyman 57sa with target knobs.

Where do I start?
Slides for Lyman 56's.
A die for a Savage 1904 loading tool (any caliber).
A rear mount and ring for a 7/8" Stith.
Forearm for a Savage 170.
Got a buddy looking for a 23B 25-20 magazine (the old square type).
You know, the easy stuff.

I have an 1895 with a bad barrel that I have been contemplating parting out. Given the tough time finding a barrel and how much I have in this already I would just like to break even. Just not sure how much need there is for every little part?

Need a forearm for a Browning 20 gauge A5. Boyds lists them at $50 but they're out of stock right now. Also one on Fleabay right now as well.

Forearm for a Savage 170.
I've been seeing some 170 parts go through eBay. Not sure on the fore arm, I remember a buttstock. I'm sure you're already watching...

Nope, no 170 forearms yet on Ebay.
Numrichs has plenty but even if you have a U.S. mailing address it doesn't matter, if your Visa card is Canadian your screwed.
Only way to get anything passed them is to mail cash with an envelope containing your U.S. mailing address, screw em, they're missing out on a lot of Canadian business.

Could someone here help you out? I'd volunteer if that would solve your problem.
