I am looking for the rear sight and elevator that would be correct for a 1957 99-F. I have one but I'm away from home until Wednesday. Send a private message with your email and I will contact you then.

Hey guys - forgive the handle, but the reason I am posting here is a general lack of familiarity with the Savage family. I have inherited a number of firearms from my grandfather, one of which is a Savage 99 takedown model in 303 savage. The only issue with this rifle, was the lack of a forend piece. After much research I managed to find the correct forend, however it is missing the latch piece. I am hoping you fine folks here can point me in the direction of a replacement latch. Thanks so much!

Hey all! I'm in need of a Savage 99 Barrel dovetail forearm stud (as shown in pic. in below link. not my pic BTW. "borrowed" it for example purposes). I'm working on another "Franken99" build, and I need this part. I have a few small 99 parts for trading fodder, OR I can send a MO for the part. Please PM me if you have a spare. It doesn't have to be "pretty" THANKS! -TomT LINK: https://www.24hourcampfire.com/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php/galleries/12654113#Post12654113

Looking for a staple and ring for a 1917 1899 F SRC. Or if someone can provide me with the correct diameter of the rod that the ring was formed from and the inside diameter of the ring, I possibly could at least make the ring.

I don't think they were all the same, and seem to recall hearing that some were one piece and others had an end? But here's something: https://www.24hourcampfire.com/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php/topics/11592974/1899_Saddle_ring_carbine
