That's makes sense, there styles seem to be much the same. Never talked to Gene but Dave is a hell of a good guy

They both great guys. I don't know Gene well, but I know David has helped me a lot with my knife making and I also know he's helped a ton of knife makers. I also know he and Gene are very good friends and I think both have learned a thing or two from one another.

What happened to Jason Winston? I have one of his knives(Model 32) and love it; as well several of David's and Gene's knives.

Yes, Al Alexander is another good maker in the area. They all know one another, as I have had a collaboration done with Al and David before.
