No problems yet with my two Z-5's BT Plex. We will see the more I use them. I just ordered a Meopta today with their plex...we shall see

The Meopta plex that I've seen is basically identical to the Swaro's. Should give you pretty similar capabilities to the Z5.

I received a new 4-12x50 today with a #4 reticle from camera land. I like it more then the #4 on a Meopta 3-9x42 I owned a while back, not being a fan of huge oculars I like this better. It is not etched as was the Meopta's but don't think that will be a big deal in lowlight. One of the pluses of this scope is mounting it in medium mounts on my 257 Vanguard. My brother on the other hand just bought a used Swaro 4-12x50 with the plex reticle and that ballistic turret they used to have and I had some reservations about the turret(too complicated) and the plex I will have to look thru his scope and mine and compare them.

I absolutely hate this reticle and cannot warm up to it. I'm not going to pay $100+ to get another reticle. I'll just sell it and get something else. Scope is basically new and has never felt recoil. $1425

I guess I'm part of the 10%. My 3.5-18 w/ duplex is just on the edge of being too thin, but its not. Right at first light/start of hunting hours I can, and have, shot elk that weren't close to me.

just my $0.02. smile

Funny how opinions differ. I think the Zeiss #20 is the best duplex ever. However, I think the Meopta #4 sucks ass. It is fine on paper, but that is about all it is good for. The center crosshair is way too thin.
