Here is a target from my friends rifle that we built.

It has a wilson 16" brl kit on it, so no match barrel but he loves it.

He is shooting a good weaver scope at 50 yards with a rest.

Scope it a bit long and he will replace it soon with a compact one, and he complains the rifle is a bit light with the 4 pos collapsable stock on it for bench work. BUT he has put an assundry of different load combo's though it with nary a hiccup and he is please witht the accuracy.

I am sure that with a better scope and rest and some load tweaking he will have a fine shooter.

Not bad for a short snouted collapsable stock gun on its first range outing. With a little work the rifle ought to become a real shooter.

YEP! It probably will become a good shooter but the man who owns it has it for his primary SHTF defense of homestead and family.

For that type of use he might be better off to keep the collapsable stock and go to a CQB type scope and add on a light rail and front grip.

I had the chance to shoot an M-4 style AR-15 with one of the Leupold 1-3 x14 CQB circle dot reticle scopes that belongs to a local State Trooper last summer.

Even with my cruddy eyesight I was able to keep 5 of the 60 grain Hornady TAP ammo around 2 inches at 100yards.

My Trooper buddy could hold 5 around an 1 -1.25 @ 100 yards.

Oh and I am so jealous of younger people with great eye sight
