Dewd I love yer posts. That is incredible.
We're headed out there a week from Sunday. Rented a place on the Cape for a week, then heading to Acadia for a few nights. Never been to New England but your posts make it pretty darned appealing!
Won't be able to fish, but excited for crabbing and relaxing in such gorgeous surroundings!
Thanks a lot for sharing Gari,
Efw I'm flattered. Thanks for the support. No time to fish? Say WHAT? Blasphemy! Heresy! Insanity! But serious for a brief moment, cool and I hope you enjoy yourself a great deal. If you don't mind my asking, where are you staying--as in what town(s) on the cape?

Always look forward to your posts, another great one, thanks! Sure makes one want to get out on the water.
"The day I went to work everybody showed up to watch Johnny Luster work. Well, they had a wheelbarrow there, and said I was to push that thing around all day. I looked at it, then turned around and headed for the mountians..."

Cool photos, my wife and I think of ourselves as "Trophy meat hunters"... a large part of what we view as a measure of the "success" of a hunting season is how many packages of carefully cut and wrapped meat we have in the freezer by the end of a year....
I have never been big game fishing so the first question that comes to mind is, how many pounds of ready to eat meat is in that bigger than the kid fish? (A tuna of some sort correct?).
What is the fish processing drill generally like after a catch like that? Divide up the best cuts with the crew so as much as possible gets eaten while it is still fresh and then vacuum seal and flash freeze the rest?
Please don't feed the trolls!
