I always like the sharpness and clarity of the images you post. The light and shadow in the last boxer image is real nice.

Thanks, sometimes the light falls right.
That was the worst lit boxing, in fact, any sporting event I have ever shot. Four lights strait down in the center of the ring, and no other lighting. Step out of the center, because well its a fight, and you stepped into a cave.

I'm jealous if you get paid to go to 'Canes games! I hope you get to see them play the Sharks, "my" team.

I don’t always take good photos, but sometimes I get to take important ones.
SFC Harry L. Ettmueller, USA (Ret) was captured in the battle of Hue on 05 February 1968. In 1973 after 1857 days of captivity he was released during Operation Homecoming, the return of 591 American prisoners of war held by North Vietnam. He was visiting Fort Brag as part of the AFVN (American Forces Vietnam Network) reunion.

Command Master Chief Joe Ciokon USN (Ret) covered the Vietnam War during the 1968 TET Offensive as a broadcast journalist and photographer. His photographs show the Viet Cong dead inside the American embassy compound in Saigon. He was also in the building next door to Beirut Marine Barracks on October 23, 1983 when a Hezbollah truck bomb destroyed it killing 241 American service personnel.
