My pack of rats, I should change my handle to "Willard"
In order of accumulation, started about 1980
Model 250-3000, has a swapped barrel
G in .300, gave it to a friend.
.303 TD, refinished wood, nice metal, interupted reciever, full thread barrel, with Lyman 21
.32-40 TD super rat, has the prettiest grained walnut forearm with checkering but the butt stock is a replacement. Metal sucks.
H in 250 has a barrel band.
G in .300 with added recoil pad.
R in .300 with a Pachmar swing mount and 4x Hawk (post and fine hair).
.358 Brush Gun, 3x Leupold
CD in .243, 6x Leupold
C in .284, 3x9 Nikon, quite a bit prettier than the one that just went on GB.

36 M1895's!!! That is amazing. Anyone know of anyone who has more M1895's than this???

Dick - do you have all the calibers made in the M1899 SRC covered in those 14 that you have? And, any with the early "small barrel band"?

Dick,

that don't sound like a collection as much as an "investment portfolio".

IMPRESSIVE!!!

Don't you count MHG bayonets as Savages as well?

Jed,

Yeah, I remember seein' that one a while back. A 250 and 358 would round things out nicely. I am out of the market for this year though. My wife insists that a deck and furnishings are more needed than Savages. That composite deck is expensive stuff. If its still available next year...
