Just returned from annual pike fishing trip in Alberta. Best yet. Weather was virtually perfect, numbers caught were truly staggering, and an assortment of sizes were caught by all parties involved. Boat/gas/motor goes along with the package price at the lodge. As does the fly-in. Screaming deal. The newbies dsidnt believe what we told them to expect for numbers, and I aint putting the numbers down here cause I get called a liar often enough already  Suffice it to say you can expect to boat 100 fish-for two people- on an average day.

As is the "norm" ! Still trying to figure out, if Canadian Customs thought I looked "shifty", or if they, perhaps, thought that I may have associated with "shifty" folk, while visiting your lovely country ?

Did you have any to eat while you were there? Yes, we ate pike for supper twice while we were there.The only time during any given year when I'll eat a fish with fins.
