I'll play. Here's my first. Taken in Tennessee "within the confines".

As odd as this might sound, I think I would rather shoot pigs than deer. Looking forward to the Texas trip this spring.

Yup 308. As for the felines. They are my thundering herd. See I'm a cat herder! wink. We had a real rodent problem. Now it is rectified! The kitty population is pretty stable now. It is kept in check by local coyotes, fast Fed Ex delivery vans and other means of attrition.

Here is a hog my son got a few years ago when we were actively hunting them:

His first bowkill:

My prettiest hog; shot her in the head with my .350 mag. You can see where the bullet exited and creased her left front leg. She was facing me and I was in a stand. She dropped in a sleeping position.

All right. Great pics there, for sure.

We were having a family get together/BBQ about 3 years ago when all the hogs came rooting they the bottom behind the yard. Son in law, who had never seen a hog before busted this old boar with a .270. Notice white shirt!!! We werent expecting hogs to show at our little party. But what the heck! Hunt when you can!

Hey Ingwe, one of them don't count (pardon my Southern grammar!).

I know...just trying to sleaze him in there...Im off this week to kill a couple more ( regular hogs) but we are pretty much gunning for eaters, so I don't anticipate any monster hero shots.

Ingwe-san,

Be sure to bring the appropriate foot-wear for the occasion of perforating porkers in Tejas........

leopard print is best,

Whatever a 7x57 can do a 270 can do better.

Here's my best. Didn't weigh it, but my late best friend Sharpshooter and I couldn't move it more than about 6" at a tug when trying to reposition it for the pic. I'm guessing he was pretty close to 400 pounds.

Here's the second best. Didn't put him on the scale either, but did measure him with a tape measure. He measured 60" from the tip of the nose to the base of his tail and 32" from the bottom of his from hoof to the top of his shoulder.
