Thank goodness. whistle

Back around 1978 or 79 I bought a Browning BSS 20 gauge with the straight grip and an acquaintance bought an Ithaca SKB exactly like yours. I couldn't hit squat with my BSS, it just didn't fit, but I was a deadly shot with his SKB. The buyer got a great little shotgun. This was really tempting... wink

Good deal ..... These SKS shotguns are a great buy. In times past they were undervalued, but seem to be appreciating in value in the last 5 or 10 years faster than other similar guns. I've owned 2-100s, 1-200 and another 500. All were great guns that would compare to a BSS with no problem at all. I like the 100s best as they have a narrow forend compared to the wider semi-beavertail on the 200. The only thing I would be critical of is that they should have another trigger. The extractors work fine for hunting, preferring them over ejectors.

I think about this scattergun every week or so and really regret not buying it when I had the chance 3 years ago.

Good job Dan ripping the scab back off.

I've since bought another M-100 in 20ga but this one was a 28" bbl (F/M) that has been opened up to IC/M. I like the longer bbls for grouse hunting. Seems to be a better ft for me than the shorter 25".

Dammit, quit bringing up smoking deals like this from the dead. It’s like talking about that old high school girlfriend that loved anal and liked to swallow, those days are long gone ☹️
