For one ,this isn't a M77. Its a Mark II.( see the Safety) Early Mark IIs are push feed

Those pictures show Ruger M77 MKII stamped right on the receiver, which is correct.

I got one in 35 Whelen , and the all stainless in 7 Mag both with the wood inserts , both shoot and are nice carry rifles.
