Quit giving in inch by inch then looking back to lament the mile behind ya and wonder how to preserve those few feet left in front of ya. They'll never stop until they're stopped. That's a fact.

Well, CDNN sold them at a discounted rate of about $130. But that's cheaper than Winchester would sell you a plain replacement. But also sight unseen. And those $130 stocks are gone and we can see that this is actually a major step above the grade 1 plain janes. So I'd say $200.

I'd put it on ebay with good pictures... it will go for more than $200 I'd bet.

Thanks for the input. I know what good condition wood stocks go for, but I have never had a wood stock like this in my possession. I was thinking $200 give or take was pretty doable.

That is the nicest FN BACO stock I've had in my hands. I actually took it off and put the stock in the safe and hunted the rifle with a McMillan (blue and white swirly). I didn't want to mess it up. The 2008 limited editions were said to have grade III stocks and that one meets that criteria. I'd also put it on ebay with a starting bid of $200.00 and see what it sells for. Someone may be looking for just such a stock. It's a beauty. Great pictures too, by the way.. Alaska cub, you are going to love how that rifle shoots. It's extremely consistently accurate..
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

NO WAY would I sell that stock. I might put another stock on it to hunt but I'd hang on to that beautiful piece of wood. If you ever wanted to sell it, that would command a premium... at least I think it would!

With most hunters these days preferring fiberglass, it might quick sale for $150. I wouldn't expect a lot more because guys who have been shopping figured wood will recognize the layout has the grain in the grip area running opposite from the desired direction.
Ten years ago you could probably have sold wood like that for twice as much. Good luck with it.

If that's a short action M70 stock. I'd be will to go $200. I have a .308 that's sitting in an ugly Ramline that would appreciate beautification. Paul B.

That sure is pretty, and this stock belongs on something like that. This barreled action is already undergoing a transformation that doesn't mesh with this good looking piece of wood. I've had several offers around $200 for it, gonna mull it over before I list it in the classifieds.
