rom 1947 to 1954 only 2 calibers available 250 and 300, so what could be the % of 250s in the mix .

I have a near mint one that I just added a like similar condition Leupold Westerner 8x scope on. Was going to try it at the range this weekend but it looks like the weather is going to suck.

I have been told by the gun broker public that this is infact a model 99 EG and not an R model. There is a stamp on the side of the reciver with the letter R with a circle. I do not want to miss lead any one as I am not an expert on Savages. I have owned a gun shop for 10 years and still learn new things every day, This is a great gun so don't miss out....Thank you

out of 15 guns from that era only 2 have been 250s.
Lightfoot is probably close but I think maby 5-10%,

About the same for Pre-war R's? I'd say 10% at best for prewar R's.
