Okay...I have given it some thought.

Date: January 1, 2007.

Limit: Twelve people, not including myself.....13 total.....but we can swing with what we get...as far as interest...

Type: Trout flies...thinking dries and streamers...size 10 and smaller.

Sign up: Post to this thread, with your handle, and stake a claim to a pattern, of your choice.

Send: Send flies, in a sturdy container, with return postage to me <address to be sent via PM>.

An e-foam-erella - parachute style.......(a type of adams)

HG, I would add for all to put toe tags on their fly's (a small piece of paper that has your handle and fly's name on it attached to the fly's hook)

and return postage on a self addressed envelope....

Okay, it looks like it is coming together...I know Pugs was signed up....can't remember what he claimed for his pattern......but we are almost to our quota....and S'Head promised to join...but he may have flaked out <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />!

Looks like it is a go.......anyone else? Artsy?? We can always make-shift, give or take 1 or 2...more or less...

One of those plastic VCR cases with the flies inside in a ziplock make a good shipping container. Ye Olde Swapmeister (That's you HG) can then just put the new selection in their baggie stick the swapper provided return address and postage on it and you're done.

Houndgirl, we only need to send 12 flies, right? I mean we don't need to tie a fly for ourselves.

OK. Nevermind..it makes it a lot simpler to send 13. That way you don't have to figure out who sent what.

Usually the swapmeister gets a bonus this way for the work.

yea..or ya could just send any other extra flies or tying material for the swapmeister (and they mark it so that it doesn't get confused!)......usually swappers send a little something but not required

it's allready been stated to send 12 so you don't get your fly back...any thing else is up to you.....

Okay, like I said, this a "first" for me...so let me collect my thoughts.

Everyone send 13 flies, assuming we get a 13th victim, and that will make it easy for me to re-distribute them...make sure the flies have tags...so everyone will be able to know who did what, without having to refer back to the thread. So, you'll all get back one of your own flies.

Artsy....you gonna tie a fly for this? I have given up on S'Head<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />!!

When are we supposed to do this by? My imediate focus in on BWOs and Mysis for an upcoming trip to the Frying Pan.

Can I be the "Proxy" for #12, since you obviously doesn't have a fly entered. I will be happy to do it.

We also OBVIOUSLY need a Wulff, how bout I do a Blonde Wulff.
