How precise is barrel interchangeability? As good as they claim it to be? Having a couple spare barrels in different chamberings certainly piques my interest too. A Hornet, with an '06 barrel or .223 barrel to boot would be pretty cool. They're only like $600 apiece, no? As I understand it, the reason they didn't simply make barrels and stock for TC receivers is that because TC's tolerances were so variable that they could not guarantee accuracy. Every one of their rifles I have used has been superbly accurate but I have not tried swithing barrels. I have no reason to doubt their claim however that they shoot well. As I stated earlier, they are all serious shooters. That is a nice looking 22 Hornet.

I am a Luxusarms owner and will also submit to the accuracy of their rifles. I have an early gun, s/n 7 with 2 bbls and know there are no issues with accuracy when changing.
I also have the latest, 3rd generation, model and it is superb. It has the upgraded farquartson type lever and case hardened receiver. I know of a 2 barrel set of the same style that is unfired and for sale. 6.5x55 and 9,3x74 (with sights) barrels are unfired. This is an extremely nice set.

They are quite well built. I have one in 6.5 Swede that was very nicely done. There is no comparison between the Luxus and either T.C., they are not in the same zipcode.

OSU, How would you compare it to yourLH K95? I am a Luxusarms owner and will also submit to the accuracy of their rifles. I have an early gun, s/n 7 with 2 bbls and know there are no issues with accuracy when changing.

It's a great rifle but not on the same level as the K95. The Luxusarms uses the same removable pin as the T/C Contender and Encore. That's an okay system but its not like the Blaser or Merkel.

I do not swap barrels on the K95(s). I do swap barrels on the R93's. ya! GWB

I have 2 barrels for my K95 Stutzen and would not be afraid to add additional barrels to any K95 in my possession.

Spearhead, You most likely have heard the colloquialism "Opinions are like noses, everyone has one and most of them smell" or even something a little more course when describing the body part.............. So here is an opinion I wrote six or seven years ago.............. https://www.24hourcampfire.com/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php/topics/8833075/re-luxus-rifles#Post8833075I've owned two K-95's. One followed another guy home as he made an offer I did not care to refuse. I currently have four R93 receivers (1 synthetic and and 3 wood) and six R93 barrels. I also have invested in a number of Merkels (1,3,141) I possibly will acquire more of either if the price is right. I like investments that shoot, and should the time come, I can turn for a profit! I have only owned one Luxus M11. Would I buy another. Most likely no. Why? Mainly, because the market for Luxus' rifles is dead. If you could find a model 11S for $1k or a model 11 LT or even an 11FQ for under 2K and you were buying them "because you could" either as a curiosity as a "user", that might be a winner. However, chances are you would have difficulty in recouping your investment. ya! GWB
