Only reason I ask my buddy has a 338 Lapua don't ask why he got it wanted to be cool. But now he hardly shoots it he figured out it isn't a rifle you pack up a mtn. the Lapua was the rage but now you don't really read much on them anymore. Originally Posted by Bricktop Then STFU. fredIII Campfire Outfitter F Joined: Jan 2010 Posts: 8,423 Wa west 🇱🇷	Lapua is a great round. Far from going away, I have a friend that is developing an AP round that blows though AR500 at 600+YRDS. I Have loaded for a few and they are very accurate. All while doing nothing I might add.

It's all about having fun and shooting what you like a 264 win is a great round but try to go with a 25" + pipe to optimize that case.
