You know life is good when you have a nice stream/creek running behind the house... My buddy in Alaska has a creek that runs by his house and that thing will be chock full of reds in July but only one problem after they gotten that far up you can't fish for them lol. Pure torture for him..

When I was stationed at Ft Lewis yrs ago I should of looked into the hunting opportunities but I figured hell I can go home in Oregon and hunt why waste my time. Always wondered what the hunting was like.

Fred, what kind of .375 you looking to get?

I have some 300gr accubonds I need to try in it as well. This rifle also shoots 270gr speer hot-cor with a stiff charge of H414 very well too.
Right now only tried the 260 gr NP's. Getting the itch to try some 300 gr RN Hornady and Nosler Partition bullets. Thinking IMR-4350 and RL-15 with those.

As far as this thread I have a question for everyone has the 338 Lapua (sp) falling out favor and now everyone building long range rifles in either the 338 RUM or 338 Edge? Only reason I ask my buddy has a 338 Lapua don't ask why he got it wanted to be cool. But now he hardly shoots it he figured out it isn't a rifle you pack up a mtn. the Lapua was the rage but now you don't really read much on them anymore.

My buddy gave me his load data for 300gr tsx using RL 15 using max book load of it. I cant remember if he was using Rem 9 1/2 magnums or Fed 215 though.

I have a model 70 stainless classic in a 7 mag. Never been a big fan of the 7 mag been thinking about having it turned into a 264 win mag.

Lapua is a great round. Far from going away, I have a friend wink that is developing an AP round that blows though AR500 at 600+YRDS. I Have loaded for a few whistle and they are very accurate. All while doing nothing I might add.

It's all about having fun and shooting what you like a 264 win is a great round but try to go with a 25" + pipe to optimize that case.
