Just inherited a Fleetwood Long bow, of Denver Colorado. Only writing is 50 #101. Its 65 inches in length.
The other is a Locksley Collegian re-curve. It is 0958-60, 60" long.

They were my FILs, and I know next to nothing about them. Internet search wasn't as helpful as I had hoped. If anybody can shed some light I what I have, I would greatly appreciate it.

Sound like some need old bows. Good luck with your search.

The Locksley is a Ben Pearson iirc.
Not expensive.
Good enough for backyard fun

Purchased two bows for $150 about ten yrs ago.
28# Locksley Collegiate and 65# DH Hunter.

Think after clean up and new strings I got 50 bucks for the Locksley and 275 for the DH.

Guy brought a Collegiate into local bow shop and it looked ok. Got a new string and went to string it and limb collapsed

Old bows.....dunno their use/ storage history. Some hold up fine, others let go. Ive shot the crap out of some bows 40 yrs old. No probs.

Just saying an old economy bow might not have much vue compared to new stuff w warranty.

However, old stuff is cool and some folks pay for it
Best bet is to check Ebay, see what the market asks.
Then save it on watch list to see what it actually sells for.

1 pc recurves run about 40 bucks to ship, which clobbers the low end market.

Thanks hookeye. I have no real interest in them, and will give them to old friend of my late FIL as a keepsake. Just curious of their history/age to tell the the old friend a little about the bows. He would definitely appreciate it.

Archeryhistory.com.might have something about the bows.
That or ask on stickbow.com's " leatherwall".

They might be able to nail down yr of manufacture and more details.

My collegiate was blonde w white limbs. Think single core and the grip was not full, was fairly upright. Dont know if variations existed.

It was a lightweight so I didnt mess with it.
I had a 37# Blackwidow 1225 target bow that didnt stay long either.

Neat stuff, just not for me.

My mom shot a Tamerlane.
