I just recently put an avenger on layaway and have done some reading on the bow. All that i have read is good but i want to hear it from somebody who has one.

They are just a shortened Ultratec, one of the best bows ever from Hoyt. Should be awesome. I really like the old style Cam and 1/2 that comes with the Avenger. I just put a Fuse STS on my '03 Ultratec and really like it. You may want to do the same with the Avenger.

I think you'll be happy. I have the Hoyt XTEC 1000 and the Trykon. Both have the same draw weight of 60 to 70 lbs. I practice with the both of them. Deer never know which one they got hit with.
