Just saying hello and wondering what you are using this season.

Anthony
Hello back at ya.

Using 58" Silvertip 74#@27" with Beman Bowhunter 300s 150gr Stinger 4 blades.

How about you? Where are you from in NY?
Hello, I live in the City but have a place in Pa. I also spend some time each season in the Catskills.

Not really a traditional hunter, but I am the only guy at my club who shoots a compound with no sights and a finger tab. I keep the let off down to 50% as well. I prefer the efficiency of a compound.
Fellow NYer here but other end of the state, not far from buffalo
another stick bender here. callin tioga cty.,pa. home for awhile.been toten around a pronghorn for a few years. nice bow.smooth , good cast and no handshock to speak of.no bow kill this year. been slackin in my archery skills and need to get my traditional desire rekindled again. murph
You need to head to Denton Hill's this year at the end of July,if that don't get fired up, nothing will...It's in Couldersport PA...Check out tradgang.com I think they're some shoot schedules on there maybe Sawmills also fairly close..I go to Denton every year...IT'S A BLAST..
coworker told me about this gathering a few years ago. had it in my memory to attend it this past summer. missed it!! will mark it on my calendar for this comeing season. heard that it is a well planed event that draws a good crowd. planing a archery elk hunt to colorado this fall, so i need to start flinging some arrows and shedin a few pounds.how was the deer huntn in "west,by god virginia"? got a late start on my bow hunting for deer. seen 2 buck first evening out and that was it for rest of bow season. hope to run into at one of the shoots. murph

i'm also from the city but hunt in the catskills. i've got an older browning compound though at 53 lbs pull and use only one pin. smile

I am from the Catskills in NY. I have been shooting and hunting traditional now for 11 years. I also go to Denton every year w/ the family...its a real good time. I really enjoy the sport.
I just moved to Pittsburgh for work a couple of months ago and completely missed hunting in my home state of MI and here in PA. frown frown I am hoping to find someone that can hook me up with some spots as they are few in far between here in Allegheny Co. Might look up in the Clarion/Dubois area. I have an office up there and it looks like some good hunting land up that way.
Penfield
Glad I mentioned that, I hadn't noticed my profile still said Grayling, MI. lol
