I want to be just like you when I grow up! They say, you're only as old as you feel but a 60# longbow makes me feel like Methuselah...............Well done, you're an animal!

Xverminator,
I'm 63 years old and have started wondering when I will need to put away the longbow and take up a crossbow. Right now I'm thinking, not yet. I am doing what I can to keep myself physically able to hunt the way I want. I have a hiking routine that usually covers 200 to 240 miles between April and Sept. Even with that the mountain trips kick my but, however I do not give in mentally because I know what I was able to do over the summer. Check out my post in general big game on my Yukon moose hunt. That one had a variety of challenges.
