I'm hoping to do the same. This is my second year of bow hunting and I missed a shot at a decent whitetail last year. I wish I would have started a couple or three decades ago!

All deer are trophies. All archery deer are trophies for sure. You have that covered in spades all the way around here!

Great job! Congrats. Sure is something about archery hunting. From stone heads and recurves or longbows all the way to crossbows. Its all a different thing. Ranges really dont' change much at least for our spooky deer, doesn't much matter what you shooting, they have to be under 20 IMHO.

I picked this bow up in 1997.

Shot two moose, a caribou , 6 or so does and one bull elk with it, before this buck.

I have been eyeballing an Elite 35 at the local sporting goods store.

Congrats! I've been using 4 blade Muzzy 90 Gr for nearly 25 years. I have to buy them on Fleabay now since they quit making them years ago.
