Man, I am bummed out. I have scouted, hung stands, and I am more than a little bit anxious. Now the forecast for Sunday, opening day is 97 degrees in southern Oklahoma. It is sure tough to hunt when it is that hot, but I will probably try anyway. Any other Okies out there bummed out about the weather? Good luck

I won't hunt when the weather won't cooperate, especially bow. I sweat when sitting still at 97 and thats not good for scent at all. Would rather wait till I have a strong chance than spook everything right off the bat.

That being said it does suck. I just don't like being in a hot state anymore. Wished things would allow me to move further north.

Good luck to ya too. I'm off to public land to roam and scout out a good area for gun season instead.
