How come I can see the picture on the video, before it starts playing, when it get goin, the screen goes black, but I get audio?

Wade fishing always has me thinking about bull sharks.

Did a dance much like that when I was wade fishing and stepped on a big snapping turtle in the a local river.
Luckily no one around and no video of the move I made that day.
