I picked some up locally. They seem like they'll be OK for most, if not all of the calibers I'm loading for.
I use a lot of H4198. Have never tried IMR 4955.

Both the H and IMR versions of 4198 are great for lots of my applications. The IMR 4198 has always given better accuracy, but the H 4198 has always been less temp-sensitive. I save the IMR version for cast bullets now, and use the H version for jacketed bullets.

With the 4198s: 17 FB, 17 Mach 4, 17 Rem, 218 Bee, 221 FB, 223, 30-30, 308, 30-06, 35 Whelen, 444, 45-70, and likely a few others that slip my mind at the moment. For the two small 17s and the 444, H4198 produces the best velocity and accuracy combo. In most of the others, it is just efficient and accurate. There are some cast bullet only applications in 243, 6.5 CM, 270, and 280 where I use IMR 4198. That will likely change, as I now have more H4198 than IMR.
What are you doing for the Whelen?

I just picked up some brass and 225 Nosler AB and 200 Hornady IL's.
