Saw this on Craigslist and thought it may be of interest to some. I don't have any affiliation with the seller or collection.

I am selling a large collection of vintage ammunition reloading equipment that belonged to Ken Howell, author of the 1995, 596 page book entitled “Designing and Forming Custom Cartridges for Rifles and Handguns”. There are more than 20 presses, scales, micrometers, dies, etc.. I am selling it for the family.

If you get me your email address I can email the inventory list to you and would be happy to send photos of anything you may be interested in.

This equipment is located in Farmington, NM. Local pick up is available. I may be able to deliver in the area for large purchases. Shipping is also available for most pieces.
My dad passed and has about 50 presses of various manuf and condition. What a PITA.

Scrap iron most of it
Couple Hollywoods, Herters, pile of Lyman and Pacific.
Be decent if fully restored (couple have been ).
Couple clean MECs gone.
May clean up/ restore a Redding turret.
Freakin garage full.
Toolmakers chest full of Starret.

Gonna take all summer to sort and catalog

Went through that with father in law, not reloading, but worlds of tools, gloves, saws, blades, tons of stuff.
I picked up a used Pacific dye in near new condition about 10 years ago in a pawn shop. I did some online search at the time and found that the Pacific dyes had a great reputation for quality. It is in 30-30, not a real high performing caliber. But the dye has served me well. You may have some treasures there, Lyman and Redding have been around quite a while and have a decent reputation. I would recommend cleaning up what you can and post for sale. Use the money on your reloading needs! smile

oops! double posted.
Along these lines, I'm looking to get back into reloading and I need everything. Had to ditch all my RCBS stuff when first wife and I split. Been looking for over a year and presses, and all tools, are almost impossible to purchase unless willing to pay ridiculous prices. I've been on notification lists for about all suppliers on the net, but so far nothing. If anyone has a Rockchucker and all the goodies, in good shape, that they want to let go, shoot me a PM.
