Anybody loading this combo? If so, what is working for you?
I wasn't able to get the 110AB's to shoot in any of my 257's, now the 110 Sierra TGK's have been a different story. Hope you have better luck.

Man, that is NOT what I was wanting to hear.....

I already tried the 100 gr TTSX Barnes and didn't get anything I consider "useable".
I’m pretty sure I used a stiff charge of IMR-7828 and got pretty good accuracy with a Mark V….I’ll try and find my load data.

I'd also try 7828 if I had some. That's what I use with 115gr bullets in mine. 3,350fps from a 24" tube.
I use them with the book max of 64 grains of IMR 4350. My rifle is a 700 CDL, luckily have a half dozen boxes I bought recently.

OK, I will give 7828 a try.

Thanks
I read so many posts saying to try R22 and 110NAB that I had to try it accuracy was just okay for me. I've become a H1000 fan with mine. I wouldn't turn my nose at 7828 at max or just below either ..

Good luck and shoot straight y'all
I'll second kat's post above regarding H-1000. It and the 110 AB's have proven a big winner in my current 257 Roy. H-1000 provides great velocity, small ES's and is very stable. Consistent 1/2-3/4 inch groups. AB's hold up well at 257 Velocities, too.

Here's a 110AB I recovered from an Iranian Red Sheep. Bullet went through both shoulders and was recovered underneath the skin of the off-side shoulder. Distance was 120 yds with a starting velocity just shy of 3500(w/H-1000). Sheep dropped where he stood and never moved. Pretty amazing kill.

For grins, here's what the same load did to a Bobcat at 75 yds. Ouch!! Btw, he dropped where he stood as well. grin

No R-22 for me any more. Went to the range on a hot day and quickly learned about temp sensitivity. Been using H-1000 and never looked back.
I shot out two barrels on a 257 wby. Trying to get good velocity and an accurate load. Never could get velocity and accuracy to come together at the same time. Finally gave up and went to the 270 wby and have never looked back.
Glad things are coming together for you guys. Hasbeen
I have had great luck with the 110AB in my 257wby’s. One likes h4831 and I have chronographed that load right at 3400fps. The other rifle shoots them at 3350 with n560.
