I think IMR4350 or Hunter would be better powders for the 200 grain bullet

Gitem, I would sure try and trade the 4064 forR#19, IMR 4831, H4831, H1000, R22, R23, or R26

i have 4 pounds of H4831 but im using that for my 280. id love to tradea pound of it for some Rl26 and a pound of varget. but i use the 4064 for other loads in my 38 and 30-06

My old tan IMR booklet shows 47.5 grains under a 200 grain Match King for 2530 fps. That's in a Rem case with a 9 1/2 primer, 23" barrel. 49,200 cup

I used that load combo quite a bit when I lived in MN and hunted northern part of the state, just 50 miles south of International Falls.

Lot of heavy woods and swamp area.... and a lot of cold weather to boot.. Frequently below zero, sometime by a lot.

IIRC, the load my brother in law made up for me, was older IMR data pamphlet... think the charge was like 49 or 49.5. I remember it was just a hair under 50 grains.

It certainly did the job, when I connected.... which it wasn't like I always connected in those northern swamps...

Sometimes the scope was fogged up as soon as I breathed on it, and my teeth were so busy chattering.. but I did take some pretty good sized
northern white tails.... running close to 300 lbs... only one was over that... like 340 on the hoof, but that was taken with a 444 Marlin.
