Those are some of my favorite bullets.

Very accurate in my 6.5x55 and 6.5 Creedmoors.

I got a bunch one time for less than $12/50. They are 3/4 moa out to 400 yards in one of my Creeds. I could not push them past the upper 2600s, as the accuracy started falling off. They are great bullets that penetrate well. I have killed several deer with them and would not hesitate to shoot an elk with them.

I ordered 3 boxes last week and they finally shipped yesterday. Hope i can find a good load for either my Creed or 260.

First thing I'd try is H4350 unless you have some Rl26.

I went and checked the load. I settled on 46 grains of Re19 in my Creed for 2740 fps. I tried a couple of other powders and this gave me the best accuracy. They did not seem to shoot as well, if I pushed them faster. I never tried them in my .260, as I use 129 Interlocks in both of them.

I bought these for my 260 but got scared off them due to hearing they are more for Grendel speeds.

Now am thinking most likely would be fine.

Aren't they the same bullet as the Fusion?

If so, they've worked very well with several one shot kills on mature cow elk out of my Creed.

They are apparently manufactured using the same technology as the Fusions. But are they really the same in terms variables such as core hardness and jacket thickness, and hence terminal performance? I haven't seen a good answer to that.

The 140s are not for Grendels, for sure. I load them to 2740 in one of my Creeds and have never caught one. They are a bonded bullet. I have killed probably six, or eight deer with them. I am going to take them on a cow elk hunt next winter.

Sbhooper - not surprised, I was specifically referring to 120's. I would feel better about 140's - but I have a slow twist that isn't supposed to shoot them well.....of course....

I sold the 120's I had to another fire member at cost...but now thinking I should have at least given them a try. I was looking for something a touch tougher than 120 Sierras- although am splitting hairs on them It is just that I loved the 140 Gamekings so much but believed the internet over my lying eyes on twist rate. Seems I might have made a similar mistake on the Speer 120's as well. The chatter was all about slower speeds and while I don't barn burn my loads it jsut seemed I wouldn't get anything tougher than the Sierras so why switch.

I would like to go back to 140 GK's but they worked better with a slower powder and I was simplifying and fool proofing my bench. Yes....I overthink ......

Glad they are working well for y'all.

At lower velocities, the Sierras probably would be better. My experience indicates that in general, the Sierras are not nearly as tough as some bonded bullets. They are accurate, but I quit loading Sierras for the most part, as I had some that did not perform very well.
