Posted By: 2500HD Finally found some Reloader 26 - 05/21/23
After at least 2 years of looking for some more Reloader 26 I found two 8 pound jug for me and one for a friend at a normal for today prices. My 30-06, 7 rem mags and 300 prc can squirt bullets for quite a while. There is hope that it will make a come back on store shelves again. Instead of gunbroker’s inflated $1000 a jug or $200 plus a pound.
Now I don’t have to be concerned about working up a load and putting it to work. Ken
Natchezss had some yesterday for a very short time, at $368 per 8 lb - before shipping and hazmat.

I paid $321.00 plus 7% tax each
It's all I use in my 6.5 CM with 143 eldx...pretty impressive groups.

Wondering the same thing
I used Speer’s 140gr online load data to work up a 143 eldx load. Made 2,750fps +/- from a 21” Bergara tube and about 2,650 from an 18” Sig Cross. Accurate in both. There’s a long 6.5CM load thread somewhere on the load forum with more details.
I used 46.5 grains with the 147 ELD for 2775 in Alpha Brass with a CCIBR2. That was out of a Tikka.
It’s in the most accurate loads for my 300 Weatherby Mag, third most accurate in 300 Winchester Mag and 1st and 2nd most accurate in my 7mm Rem Mag. Average of 3 ea 5 shot groups
I’ll be working with RE26 in my 280AI this summer hopefully.

300 Weatherby Remington 700 Classic, 200 grain Nosler Partition, 215, 78.2 grains RE 26, 0.69 MOA

third most accurate in 300 Win Mag:
300 Win Mag, Remington 700 ADL, 220 grain Nosler Partition,9 ½ M, 74.1 Grains RE26, 0.66 MOA

first and second with the 7mm RM

7 mm RM Remington 700 BDL, 140 grain Nosler PT, 72 grains RE 26, .38 MOA
7 mm RM Remington 700 BDL, 150 grain Nosler PT, 70 grains RE 26, .66 MOA

I'm sitting on 25 pounds of it... When powders were edging up to $30 a pound at Sportsman Whorehouse...

They constantly had RL 26 on the shelves, and it wasn't moving. So every time I went into one of their stores here in Oregon, I'd pick up a pound of it, for the price of $22.

Gave a good campfire friend , three pounds of it, and another two pounds of it to a local friend.

that is why I am down to 25 pounds of it...and NO its not for sale...

I stocked up before it got discovered... smile
As did I

Just out of curiosity, where did you find it for this price?
It is the best powder I have loaded in my 300 Weatherby.
