Back several years ago when reloading supplies were really tight, I bought some of this powder, along with their Long Rifle powder, to use in case I ran out of what I'd normally use. While taking an inventory of 308 supplies, I found some brass I'd prepped and forgot about, along with a couple hundred of the no longer made Hornady 155 grain AMax bullets. Thinking I'd load something up, I saw the Precision powder and worked up a load using it It's advertised as being very similar to Varget, and the load I used was the same as a Varget load would have been. The first try produced a group at 400 yards that I could cover with my hand. I wish I'd bought more, and wish Hornady still made those bullets. Anyone else ever used the Shooters World powders?
Yes. I have had good success with the Match Rifle powder. It is more or less 4895 IIRC and I have good loads in 30/06 and 223 using it. I’d buy some more if I could get it at reasonable prices.
I was buying mine at MidSouth and the supply seems to have dried up.
I use Buffalo rifle in the 30-30 which is the same as 5744.Also reduced loads in the 375 H&H.

What bullets did you use it for in .223?

Just bought my first pound of SW Match at a Scheel's when we were in Utah and used it to load some 75 gr Hornady BTHP's. Haven't gotten to the range yet.
I use Horn 75's and Scenar 77's with SW Match though my CTR 20 inch barrel. get about 2770 FPS, and it is shooting 0.3 MOA for 5 shots repeatedly.

I used it with 69SMKs using the data on the bottle. I’d have to go out to the shop to get in my notes for the exact load but I’m not one to do huge amounts of load work so it’s probably pretty close to the recipe on the label.
Back during the plandemic I was getting low on Varget, it was unobtainable at the time. I purchased 3# @ $30.00 Lb. with free hazmat. Wish I had bought more, as the price has gone up since then.
SW Precision is just as accurate in my .260Rem as Varget sub moa. I would have to go look at the log book, but I think I worked up to half a grain less SWP than Varget to get the accuracy load. POI and velocities changed some, but it shoots sub moa.

ymmv
Thanks guys. I worked up to the max they list for 77 gr Sierras, we'll see.
I have SW blackout that I use in a couple 30 cal wildcats.
Yes on SW Precision powder. 260 Rem, 35 Whelen currently. Varget loads in anything make SW Precision useable in those same anything. Meters better than Varget...
