Bought a Ruger 77 African 9.3x62 the other day and she sure is fun to shoot. Worked up some loads with Rel 15 and Speer's 270 gr bullet. After getting the scope and rifle pointing in the same direction, my first 3-shot 100 yd group was 0.625".

This morning I opened a box of Nosler 250 gr AccuBonds wanting to work up a flatter shooting load. COAL for the 9.3x62 is 3.290". When seating this bullet, I noticed a pronounced resistence in the seating at about 3.350". Imagine my surprise when I lowered the press handle and the bullet was no longer in the case. It was stuck in the die! I tapped the die a few times with a small hammer and the bullet fell out. Tried to seat the bullet again and the same thing happened??

I'll be sending it back to RCBS for evaluation. No issue with the Speer 270's - maybe because of their blunter profile?
Very common issue with RCBS seaters.

You can take care of the problem with a little Cratex abrasive cone work on the end of the seater stem.
Doeslayer, if ya dont want to wait on RCBS for 2 wks spin that stem out of the seater die and wrap the threads in tape and gingerly put it in a drill and spin the cup over some 600 grit sandpaper then steel wool, most likely has a sharp edge around the circumference of the cup.
