Anyone shooting this combination? Considering trying IMR with this bullet, but not sure what charge I want to start with or where to stop. Suggestions?

I have a good load for the bullet with RL22 in the books, just looking for a 2nd option.

Thanks
RL 25 for me 3275 fps and 1/2" groups
Details on that load? brass, primer, charge wt, oal? Barrel length 24"? 3275 w/.5 in group is perking good.
Ruger #1B 26" bbl 215 GM caps. 58 gr of RL25 antelope shot at 289 yards.

I tried that exact combo, in addition to RL-22, and Retumbo in my 25-06. Nothing would shoot the accubonds much better then 3/4-7/8 of an inch. I'm back to 100gr ballistic tips and IMR4831. Cruising along at 3350 with 1/2 inch groups and haven't yet kept one inside the 10 or so deer I've shot with it.
My 25/06 loves the combo. Couple of grains under max or so as I recall

Killed several deer with the combo and hope to add to the total next month!!
OldRook, what charge would you consider max? Looking at the Nosler data, they list max as 51.0 grains of IMR 4831 for the 110 grain Accubond, but they list max for the 115 grain BT as 52.0 grains. That doesn't add up to me.
Also, any idea what the velocity was?

Thanks!
Thanks Fotis! May have to work up a load for my Ruger Tang 77.
Dufur's been here a lot lately. Your'e not elk hunting? Been up around rock creek the last 4 days myself...
i use 52gr imr 4831 and 117 hornady spbt works good work up to it
Drano

I never ran any thru the Chrony

51 grains of IMR 4831 is max for the 110 a bomb

I use 58 gr of RL 22 with the 100 gr NBT. Just loaded up 60 rounds of that two weeks ago.

As I recall I was a couple of grains under. I'm in Michigan right now and all my gear is in MS. Have an AL whitetail hunt planned Dec 14 and then hunting for several days in MS. Planning on at least a bushel of white tails!!!

I've killed over 20 with the 25/06 and it loves 100 and 110 Gr bullets and rl22 and IMR 4831

Bad medicine.
I've shot IMR 4831 with several different bullets ranging from 90 - 117 grains, and my rifle seems to like them all. I used 52 grains behind a 117 grain Hornady, with zero pressure signs. So, I'm confident I can use at least a 52.0 grain charge and considering 53.0. I'll work up, of course.
Howdy! I just loaded 5 rnds w/H-4350 SC, RP/RP 9 1/2 and 100 Hornady IL, which are max Hodgdon Book loads, for this weekend's WT hunt. Anybody have an opinion?-Muddy PS already sighted in for this!
If you hit the deer in the right spot, he will die pronto. grin
