I just picked up a 7mm Mauser and I am looking for some information like bullets and powder loads.
Thanks

IMR4350, 46-50 grs., 150-160 gr bullets and work up slowly paying attention to seating depth. I am in the middle of that process with mine. 760 is also a very popular powder but I just haven't tried any yet.
Do a search for "7x57" and you will come up with lots of info!
Like most cartridges, the 7x57 works well with a number of powders and bullets. My 7mm Mauser, a Winchester Model 70 Featherweight, performed okay with H414 and the Speer 145 grain bullet. It shoots much better with a load consisting of a Remington case, CCI 200 primer, 48 grains of Reloder 19 powder, and the Nosler 140 grain Partition bullet. YMMV
!40gr.NBT and 49grs of H414 works well for me in Winchester cases and Winchester primers.
rem brass, CCI 200's, 48 g H4350, Hornady 139 SP's. 7 @ 100 from FN featherweight
I just put together a 150gr. NBT load with 47.0 gr H4831
Not exactly screaming along at 2550 fps, but Ill bet the deer won't notice.
Shooting it in a Fwt Winchester.

WHAT?!?!? You have fallen off the 160 wagon? Is the world coming to an end?
To the OP: I've used 50 gr of H4831 and 160 gr Accubonds or Deep Curls. Also 48 gr of H4831 and Hornady 154 gr round nose are retro deer-death for sure.
Welllllllll..I was hoping no one would notice.
I DO have a dynamite 160 load ( Barnes TSX and 50 gr of H4831) And My old fave 175 loads.
Just wanted to try something different.and Im a gun/scope/bullet/reloading slut.
Just kidding you know.
I have some 150 Dober Specials to try too, just haven't gotten to them yet. Also some 175 Hornadys and 170 Normas - what was your 175 load?
My fave load was a 175 Gr. NPT and 37.0 gr. IMR4895.killed everything with it.
Going to Texas in May for Axis, and the guide wanted me to use something bigger than a CF .22 so I got the old girl out of mothballs, thought Id try something different and slowed the bullet down to 2500 fps because thats about where meat damage lessens, and Axis taste really good!
I'll note that load, if I live long enough I'm going to use some 175's just because.
Good Hunting in TX.
