I'm going to be loading some pills up for my 300 WM. I have some Hornady Interbond 180s to play with as well as a couple of others.
Powder-wise, I have IMR 4831, H-4831 (NOT SC) and IMR-4350 and some IMR 4064. Haven't seen a can of H414 in a year much less anything from Ramshot.

What say you all?
Belgium Browning
180 grain Hornady SP
75 grains RL-22
Fed215
3.360" OAL
3000 fps
WW cases
25 yards - 1/2"
50 yards -0-
100 yards + 1 1/2"
200 yards - 2 1/2"
300 yards -9"

Try 73 grains H 4831? (The above came from AR/24hr and I never even tried anything else. Accurate and done!
RL-22 Works great in the 300 Winny. 75-76gr With 180's and Fed 215m. This load has worked very well for me.
I have arrived at a single load for the 4 rifles in .300 Win Mag I load for.

WW case
Fed 215
72.0 IMR-4350
180gr Speer Grand Slam

1 1/2" or less for 3 shots at 100 yards in each of the 4 rifles and just plain WORKS on anything you wanna shoot it at this side of the pond.
Over the years I have had at least 10 different rifles or barrels chambered in 300WM, a couple of them would shoot 180's well with H4831 but hands down the powder of choice for this combo is RL22.

Use your IMR4064 and H414 in 22-250 or 220Swift with 55 grain bullets.

Norma MRP and VVN165 also work awesome if you can find them.

Same/same.

Before RL22 I used a lot of IMR4831 with good success.

I hear H1000 is very good but have never tried it in the 300 Win Mag.
Nosler 5 says 75.5 grs of Rl22 and 6,7 says 71 grs was best. They also list 70- IMR4350 was tops. I have had good accuracy with the 75.5 RL22 and the IMR4350.
H-1000 if you want accuracy with great cold weather velocity.
Nosler #7.
I've had good luck with both H-4831 and R-22, Federal match brass and Federal GM match primers. The rifle here is a factory Rem Sendero, Rifle Basix trigger and bedded.

Tikka 300 Wm....75 re22. Win brass...215 primers...2950fps....180bt.
Best group I've ever shot ...5 shots....300 yds.... .9".
The gods were shining that day but it shoots better than I do.
H4831SC and RE22 - both < 1 moa

12 years ago, I bought my 300 mag. At the time, the slowest powder I had was IMR4350, and the onliest manual I had was a Speer #8. They listed a suggested starting load of 71 grains of IMR4350, an intermediate load of 73 grains, and a max load of 75. All the loads that I had tried from that manual for other than the 300 mag proved safe, even approaching max loads. I decided on the 73 grain load with a 180 Hornady Interlock BTSP. Velocity was 3140, and with the BOSS adjusted it would shoot under an inch, and depending on me, 5/8". No pressure signs, but the first deer I shot with that load showed some pressure signs, so I bought some H4831sc, and a box of 168 gr Barnes TSX. Also had some RL-22. That is when I quit using 180 Hornady's in the 300 mag. I now use 75 gr of RL-22 with the Barnes and am satisfied with that.
70 gr's IMR 4350
180gr. Nosler Partition
CCI 250
R-P Brass
.020" off lands

3 of my rifles and a buddies rifle loved that load and shot sub moa groups. Good enough for me...

I also substituted a 180gr. Winchester power point and dropped the charge wt down to 69.5 gr.'s for my inexpensive practice loads....:

I have and it is better than very good, I would say it is awesome with 210gr VLD Berger's......with 180's RL22 is better
I have had really good results with IMR4831 with 180's and the 168TTSX

The 300wm is just easy to work with!
180/190's and H4831

168's and H4350

208's and H1000
My 300 Winny likes 75 grains of RL-22, Fed 215 primers and 180 grain Nosler Partitions. H-4831 is also a good choice especially with 180 grain BT's.
I used to use IMR4350 and RL22. Now I use H1000 and will never go back. Very little extreme spread in different temperatures, definately cannot say that about RL22. Favorite load and I see no reason to ever change since I have 1000 of these bullets and it shoots great. 1.5" group at 100 yards was upsetting but 1.75" group a 300 yards. Yes I have heard of his but first time experiencing it.

Win brass
Fed 215
81.0 gr H1000
180 gr Nosler Accubond 2nds
3050 fps from 26 inch barrel.
83 grains of H 1000, and a 180 grain RN or Ballistic Tip or Partition...
For this particular rifle,I may have to try this one.

That is smoking! What speed are you seeing 3200fps?

Anyone playing with Ramshot Magnum?
I would like to hear about Magnum with a 180, also,
75-76 of rl22 or h4831
WW case
215 primer
76 grs H4831sc
Ramshot magnum is my go to powder with the 180 and up bullets in the 300 win mag...I have also had great luck with H1000 and H4831..
