Has anyone tried this combo? What were your loads?

Also provided one gets good velocity and accuracy what is the biggest animal you feel comfortable hunting ?

TIA
I've used that combo on quite a few whitetails. I used H100V for about 3375 fps, I don't have my notes handy & can't remember the charge but it was a pretty mild load. Accuracy was very good. Where I hunt the longest shot is about 300 yds, if I had longer shooting opportunities I'd pick one with a bit better BC but for a short-mid range load it shoots fast & flat. I always got full penetration & can't see any reason it wouldn't work on elk.
It’s hard to imagine anything big that I wouldn’t rather use a 140 or 150 TTSX in the 7 Mag. Speed is not a factor lacking in the 7 Mags.

120g TTSX
Rem brass
CI250* very important
72-73g of R#22
Bullet seated .050 off the lands

Shoots clover leafs or smaller, very uniform load from one Rem 700 to the next, you just have to play with the load due to lot# of powder, barrel, etc.

We have never had a deer stop one of these loads
Max load of R-22 runs just over 3400 fps and is accurate to boot out of my Vanguard. Just shot it again yesterday, ran it out to 350 yards, it may go on my Coues deer hunt this fall.
