Any of you guys have some loads and velocities for 264 win mag launchin 120-130 grain bullets as it seems like most of my reloading books are all over the map on the 264? I'm throwing around the idea of building the 264 or a 257 weatherby. Been around quite a few weatherbys and have only been around one 264. Thanks
Mine loves 125 gr partitions with IMR 7828. No need for 140s for deer.
Southtexas how fast are you pushing them?
I haven't run it over the chronograph but 120 gr ballistic tip with 69.0 gr H1000 about 0.022 off the lands works nicely in mine.
right at 3300 (26" bbl). Great deer dropper, near and far. The only bullet I have recovered went stem to stern thru a mature buck. Found it under the skin near the tail.
130 Accubond makes 3300 fps from my 27 inch barrel with Magnum.
I have the JLK 130gr VLD bullets at 3249 fps from my 30" barrel with 67 gr H4831 with no signs of pressure. The real fun begins with the Sierra 85gr HP at 3830 fps with 73gr H4831 and no signs of pressure.
I am running 120gr TTSXs with 69.0gr of Ramshot Magnum and a Federal 215 primer. If I remember correctly, this is the max listed in Ramshot's online load data.
Out of my 26" Pac Nor tube it chronographs 3380fps with close to single digit ES.
I tried loads all the way up to 72.0gr but the accuracy wasn't there...and my ES increased as well.
I like 120 TTSX's in my 26 Nosler. They're the best performing and most accurate in that gun. I would think they'd do great in the .264 WM on WT's, etc. 120 gr. E-Tips
Berger doesn't recommend running their VLD Hunting over 3,100 fps. At hyper velocity, I don't trust them on game.
Targets are a different matter.

70.1 grains of Ramshot Magnum gives the Barnes 127 Tipped LRX 3477 from my EW model 70. I haven't used it on game yet, maybe this fall if I draw.
That's pretty fast, Dusty. Wonder what pressure you're running.
That's 26 Nosler performance out of a .264 WM.
My 26 groups the 120 E-Tip and 120 TTSX slightly tighter than the 127 LRX, about 2" at 400 yds for the 120's, 3" or so for the LRX, all three are good bullets.
The LRX is reportedly designed to open at slightly lower velocity than the other two. I've not killed anyting with the LRX, plenty of stuff with the 120's. They're devastating at 3,450 fps.

This 70.1 grain load is listed in the Ramshot load manual but for a 129 Hornady bullet. I have a quantity of the 127 LRX Barnes so I substituted them. Used the starting load and worked up to the listed max. No pressure signs and easy bolt lift. I used twice loaded WW cases with 215M primers and Ramshot Magnum powder. I used my V3 chronograph and only fired five rounds of this load. I used an EW Model 70 chambered in .264 Win. Mag.
Well, that does sound Kosher...

125 partition seconds give me 3250 fps with IMR 7828. Start low and work up. This is not "topped out", but shoots .75" at 200 yrds if i do my part and the recoil is minimal. 26 inch # 3 douglas barrel. Gun weight 9 lbs w scope.
68 gr Ramshot magnum with the 120 ttsx gets me 3260 out of my Pre 64 M70 westerner.
71 gr. Rl-33 with 120 TTSX does 3400 fps in my 27" lilja barrel.
