Has anyone loaded this combination before and if so what would be the min. and max. load charges recommended?

Nosler doesn't list IMR4350 to go with it's 6.5 130gr. AB, but it does H4350. Hodgdon only give IMR4350 load data for 140 and 142 gr. bullets.

Talked to Nosler today. The tech was kind of surprised that they hadn't conducted any tests using this bullet/powder combination. Then he looked at the hodgdon site and seemed somewhat more surprised that they did not have any data, either. I did send hodgdon an email today, as well. Waiting for their response.

We agreed the powders are very similar, but there is still enough difference to warrant at least a minimum and especially a maximum load number.

I told him the h4350 was a scarce commodity in this part of the county, but the imr was available. Said he would make a note the missing load data and pass it up the Nosler food chain.

I wouldn't be afraid whatsoever to start with a similar minimum and work up using a chronograph.

Yep. I use IMR 4350 in my .260 Remington with the 130 AB with great results. 44 gr. IMR 4350 is what my Ruger M77 MkII likes. I know they're different cartridges, but that might give you a ballpark. I'd guess 40 gr. IMR 4350 to be a good starting point with the 6.5 Creedmoor.

Im getting ready to try some IMR 4350 in mine. With 120 Barnes TTSX. It should be a great pig killer.

I just called Hodgdon and talked to Mike explaining my powder predicament of only having the IMR 4350 available to go with Nosler 130 gr. accubonds.

This was the starting and maximum load data he gave me over the phone.

Starting: 34.5 grains
Maximum: 38.5 grains
